What's a fast and healthy lunch that your kids love to eat and you like to make? I can't do another box of macaroni and cheese this week...

String cheese and deli meat (he's not into sandwiches) is a staple for my little guy. I try to throw in some carrot sticks and/or apple slices when I can.

Maybe you see some ideas here:  http://healthychild.org/blog/comments/20_creative_ideas_for_healthy_school_lunches/

Interested in seeing a plan for making up to $100,000 in the next 15 months with a 53 year old company?  Contact me at kathi@shaklee.net .  See the plan - no obligation!  We want to help others have a better tomorrow!

Research the company for yourself!      www.shaklee.net/kathi .   Shaklee has a history of doing extremely well during the last few recessions...right now 10 consecutive quarters of growth!

Both of my kids like ham rollups with either cream cheese or string cheese rolled in thin sliced deli ham, yogart with granola and carrot sticks and juice. I have started making rollups ahead of time and stocking them in the fridge as my oldest daughter even likes em after school for a snack.
Once in a while we will vary and use turkey roll ups with a slice of cheese rolled in it. But they are quick and easy and depending on how old your children are they can help make their lunch which makes it tasst e twice as good LOL.

I swear I have the pickiest toddler because she won't eat pb&j's or any sandwiches for the matter, no spaghettios, deli meats, or hotdogs(oh darn;).  If I do get stuck making Mac N Cheese I always add a can of tuna and or pea's to it just to give it some nutritional value.

Fresh apple, orange, peaches, steamed carrots, peas or corn, and  fresh grilled chix breasts, hard boiled eggs or scrambled eggs, then always a yogurt:)  Sometimes a piece of cinnamon toast if I'm lucky!

Figured if she won't eat the meat at least she loves fruits, veggies, and yogurt.  I also 2nd the spirals(ham rollups)-not for DD but for a great snack for myself because we all know it's hard to squeeze in a meal sometimes!  I do ham layered with cream cheese and stuffed with a pickle-No tortilla:)

I always just aim for the fresh produce, cheese, & yogurt  first and go from there!

I have discovered that the Smuckers Uncrustables are fabulous!  I always thought, how lazy can you be it's just a pbandj, but they are wonderful!!  My kids adore them and it is annoying - they hate the crusts so I have to make them and then cut them up.  This saves a big step and my son sometimes can make his own lunch now - a real time saver in the morning.  I just buy them for cold lunch days for school - if we're at home I make something.  It helps with the craziness of the morning!
